Cathedral City:
Named for its divine mountain terrain, Cathedral City is home to Big League Dreams Sports Park, the $5 million Desert IMAX Theater, Boomers! Family Fun Center and the stunning Mary Pickford Stadium 14 Cinemas. Cimarron Golf Resort.
La Quinta:
Home to one of the oldest resorts in the desert, La Quinta is known as "The Gem of the Desert." La Quinta has world class golf courses, including PGA West and Trilogy Golf Club. This is where Ginger Rogers married, Frank Capra penned many of his famous scripts and Arnold Palmer operates one of the city's newest restaurants.
Desert Hot Springs:
Regarded as "The Mineral Water Capital of the World," Desert Hot Springs is famous for its hot mineral waters that bubble from underground at 90º-145º F and flow into the thermal wells of more than 40 hotel spas. The city is home to many unique smaller resorts and serves as the gateway to Joshua Tee National Park.
Palm Desert:
Many regard Palm Desert as a golfer's "fairway to heaven" and "shopper's paradise," with fabulous courses and a thriving retail and business community, including the famous El Paseo Drive. The McCallum Theatre for the Performing Arts is a cultural icon, while the beauty and wonder of The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens provides a respite unlike any other. The nation's only Golf Cart Parade takes place here each November.
Indian Wells:
Home to four of the valley's top resorts, Indian Wells is the birthplace of the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic and boasts the 16,000-seat Indian Wells Tennis Garden, site of the annual Pacific Life Open Tournament. Palm Springs:

Indio:
The "City of Festivals" has been home to the National Date Festival for more than 50 years and also draws thousands for its International Tamale Festival each December. The valley's two world class polo fields are located in Indio, as well as renowned Landmark Golf Club, all which serve as excellent event venues. Ninety percent of the nations's dates are grown and harvested here.
Rancho Mirage:
Some of the finest country clubs on the map lend a bright flair to this residential community known as "The Playground of the Presidents," which is also home to Frank Sinatra's infamous desert compound. The city's new "River" complex is a delightful mix of restaurants and shops, while its stunning resorts, golf courses and manicured landscaping provide its distinctive sheen.
